We offer 3 different packages when purchasing a boat. Below are the packages and associated costs. Clear and transparent.
PACKAGE 1: Search and find
Defining the yacht of your dreams.
We present the ‘Search and Find’ program tailored for water sports enthusiasts seeking new horizons or with limited boat experience. This package aims to compose a shortlist of available boats with proper documentation, ensuring early discernment between quality options and saving valuable time and potential disappointments. Through a thorough intake, we get an idea of what type of boats are suitable for your purposes. We then look for boats that are available, at home or abroad. Because of our network and knowledge of the market, we often offer boats that cannot be found on well-known websites. This will be roughly 10 boats. We discuss these 10 boats with pros and cons, which means that some boats are eliminated and a short list of approximately 3-5 contenders.
In the concluding phase, we initiate contact with the selling party regarding various aspects such as boat history, condition, VAT status, CE certification, registration, encumbrances, and availability. This thorough process results in a refined list of worthy boats for consideration.
The costs for ‘package 1’ service are as follows:
0.4 % of the average asking price, with a minimum of €695
Example; at an asking price of €250,000 our fee is € 1000
All prices are included 21% VAT.
PACKAGE 2: Visit
Exploring your dream yacht.
If you’ve already compiled a shortlist yourself, we can assist with boat visits. For international clients, we offer viewing services with detailed oral and written reports. Ideally, we recommend joint viewings. If package 1 isn’t relevant to you, we verify documentations including VAT status, declaration of conformity, registration, and possibly CVO at this stage.
Following the viewings, typically 1 or 2 boats emerge as top contenders.
The costs for our ‘package 2’ service are as follows:
- Hourly rate € 125
Daily rate €625
Mileage fee €0.50 - For viewings abroad we charge the daily rate + expenses incurred.
All prices are included 21% vat.
STEP 3: Purchase
The purchase of your dream yacht.
Once you’ve selected your dream boat, we’ll submit an offer. All offers are subject to survey and sea trial. Levering our market knowledge, we establish a realistic purchase price based on comparable sales. Following price agreement, the boat undergoes inspection and sea trials. If all goes well, we proceed with the transfer and, if necessary, (de-) registration.
The costs for our ‘package 3’ service are as follows:
0.5% of the difference between the asking price and the sales price, with a minimum of € 695.
Example; the asking price is € 200,000 and, after negotiation, we manage to buy the boat for € 180,000. The costs then amount to €1,000 (€20,000 x 0.5%).
